Heteromorph ammonites belong to the most spectacular cephalopods that have ever lived in the seas of our planet. They possessed a more or less uncoiled external shell and independently evolved bizarre forms multiple times throughout the history of the Earth. Their last representatives vanished 66 million years ago at the end of the Cretaceous.
Very soon a detailed, hand-finished model of the Early Cretaceous heteromorph ammonite genus Emericiceras will complement our 3D print portfolio and will be available for sale in various designs. The shell diameter of the standard model in the shop measures 20 cm (scale: 1:5). But it is also possible to build the Emericiceras model in natural size (shell diameter: 80 to 100 cm) as well as in any intermediate dimensions. Please contact us and let us know your needs.
